Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Kent and a 4 night stay in Chatham
Day 2: Travel to the historic Georgian Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells to explore the shops or stroll through the Pantiles. After lunch visit Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, one of the world’s most celebrated gardens. Built in the 1930’s on the site of a medieval manor, the garden is designed as a series of rooms each with a different character of colour or theme, the walls being high clipped hedges.
Day 3: To Biddenden Vineyard in time for a Ploughman’s lunch and a glass of wine, before a tour of the vineyard and wine-tasting. As well as a visit to Tenterden which is a Cinque Port town in the Ashford District of Kent. It stands on the edge of the Weald, overlooking the valley of the River Rother.
Day 4: (LEEDS CASTLE)
Day 5: Homeward bound.
