Eastbourne
Situated on the South coast in East Sussex, Eastbourne is a popular holiday resort which lies in a sheltered position with Beachy Head to the West. It has a long flat promenade with areas of grass and flower beds. There are several fine parks including the Devonshire & Hampden. It has a modern shopping centre. Other amenities include the theatre, boating, bowls, fishing & tennis. Eastbourne has an excellent sunshine record.

The Hotel Afton
The Afton is a friendly hotel with a homely atmosphere and no restrictions, it is situated at the top of Cavendish Place opposite the pier and carpet gardens with a level walk to the promenade and the shopping centre, the latter of which is only two minutes walk away.
